The short answer
Choose Popl if you are a large sales organisation whose main problem is capturing leads at trade shows into a CRM, if your security review requires a SOC 2 Type 2 report, and if you are comfortable booking a sales call to find out the price.
Choose Cardify if your team works in Arabic and English, if you want every employee carded without a per-seat bill, and if you want the printed cards and the digital cards to be one system rather than two suppliers.
Price
This is the cleanest difference between the two, and it is not really about the amount. It is about whether you can find it out.
Popl publishes no prices. Their pricing page offers a "Request Pricing" button, and their own FAQ addresses this directly under the heading "Why isn't pricing listed on the site?", answering that they quote pricing over a meeting instead of publishing it on the website. They also state that pricing is all-inclusive rather than per seat. So Popl may well be good value. There is simply no way to know without a meeting, and we are not going to invent a number for them.
Cardify publishes everything. The web platform is free, permanently, for unlimited employees, unlimited templates and unlimited cards, with no credit card required. The only money that changes hands is for physical cards, at OMR 5.000 per 100 Standard, OMR 6.000 per 100 Premium, OMR 15.000 per 100 Luxury, and OMR 25.000 for an NFC tap card. That is the entire commercial relationship, on a public page.

Where Popl is genuinely stronger
We would rather you read this here than discover it after signing up.
- Enterprise security paperwork. Popl advertises SOC 2 Type 2. Cardify does not hold a SOC 2 Type 2 report. If your procurement or vendor-risk process requires one, that is a hard stop and Popl clears it.
- Single sign-on. Cardify has no SAML or SCIM support today. Companies that provision every application through their identity provider will find that a real gap.
- CRM and calendar integrations. Popl advertises self-serve CRM and calendar integrations. Cardify has no native connectors to Salesforce, HubSpot or similar.
- Event lead capture at scale. Popl's whole product is oriented around trade-show lead capture, including badge scanning, qualifying questions and event campaigns. If your problem is "we do thirty conferences a year and lose the leads", that is what Popl is built for and Cardify is not.
- Dedicated onboarding. Popl advertises a dedicated customer success manager on its Teams offer. Cardify's support is a shared team.
Where Cardify is stronger
- Arabic and English as one card, not a translation. Every employee record holds real Arabic name and title fields, the card renders right-to-left properly, and the saved contact carries both spellings. This is the reason Cardify exists.
- Nothing per employee, ever. Carding all four hundred staff costs the same as carding four. There is no seat count to negotiate and no renewal conversation.
- You can see the price. On a public page, without a meeting.
- Print and digital are one system. The printed card, the QR on its back and the digital profile are managed from the same dashboard and fulfilled by verified Omani print shops, dispatched within one working day.
- Built and hosted in Oman. Which matters for data-residency questions from Omani regulators and state-linked counterparties in a way it does not for a US platform.
Who should choose what
If you run a two-hundred-person sales organisation in North America whose pipeline depends on conference lead capture into Salesforce, Popl is the more appropriate product and we would say so to your face.
If you run an Omani or Gulf business whose people hand cards to counterparties who read Arabic, who wants every employee carded without a per-seat line item, and who wants the printing handled in Muscat rather than shipped from abroad, Cardify is built for exactly that and costs nothing to try.
How we checked this
Every competitor fact on this page was read off the competitor's own live pages on 20 August 2026, and each is linked below so you can verify it yourself. Pricing and features change: if you find something here that is out of date or wrong, tell us at our contact page and we will correct it.
Where we say a competitor "does not advertise" something, we mean the claim was absent from the pages listed below on that date. It is not a statement that their product lacks the feature.
Cardify is a product of BHD Group (Bin Haider Darwish L.L.C.), Muscat. All other product names are the trademarks of their respective owners, used here for identification and comparison only.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Popl cost?
Popl does not publish prices. Their pricing page carries a "Request Pricing" button rather than plans, and their own FAQ answers the question "Why isn't pricing listed on the site?" with the explanation that they quote pricing over a meeting instead of publishing it. That means nobody can tell you what Popl costs without booking a call, and any figure you see quoted elsewhere is not from Popl. Checked 20 August 2026.
How much does Cardify cost?
The Cardify web platform is free with no employee limit, no template limit and no card limit, and no credit card is required. You pay only for physical cards: OMR 5.000 per 100 Standard, OMR 6.000 per 100 Premium, OMR 15.000 per 100 Luxury, and OMR 25.000 per NFC tap card.
Which is better for an Arabic-speaking team?
Judge Cardify on what it does rather than on a claim about anyone else. Every Cardify employee card carries an Arabic version and an English version under one URL and one QR code. The Arabic name and job title are separate fields entered by the employee, not transliterated from the English by software, the card renders right-to-left rather than mirroring the English layout, and the saved contact carries both spellings so the recipient finds the same person searching in either script. Popl states on its own site that it supports any and all languages; we have not tested how its cards render in Arabic, so ask them to show you one. Ask us the same, and we will send you a live card.
Is Popl better than Cardify for anything?
Yes, for several things. Popl advertises SOC 2 Type 2 security, self-serve CRM and calendar integrations, an AI-native badge scanner, and a dedicated customer success manager on its Teams offer. Cardify has no SOC 2 Type 2 certification, no single sign-on, and no native CRM connectors. If your procurement process requires a SOC 2 report or SAML single sign-on, Popl meets a bar that Cardify currently does not.
Can I get printed cards from either?
Cardify prints and delivers physical cards in Oman as part of the same system, ordered from the same dashboard that manages the digital cards, from OMR 5.000 per 100 for Standard stock. Popl publishes no prices of any kind, and on 20 August 2026 its online storefront listed no products, so we cannot tell you what it would cost you or whether it ships to Oman. Their sales team can.
