About Oman Investment Authority
Oman Investment Authority (OIA) is the sovereign wealth fund of the Sultanate of Oman, established by Royal Decree in June 2020 through the merger of the State General Reserve Fund and the Oman Investment Fund. OIA manages the government's commercial assets at home and abroad, spanning energy (OQ), logistics (Asyad), telecommunications (Omantel), financial services, real estate, and emerging sectors. It operates under direct oversight of the Council of Ministers with a mandate to deliver risk-adjusted returns and support Oman Vision 2040. Headquartered in Muscat's Muscat Business District (MBD).
