Phoenix Power Company SAOG operates the Sur Independent Power Project (IPP), a natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant of around 2,000 MW, one of the largest single-site power stations in the Sultanate, supplying electricity to the main interconnected system through a long-term power purchase agreement with Oman Power and Water Procurement Company.
